Privacy Policy

1. What we collect and why

• Email address — to create your account and sign you in. Nothing else.
• Birth date, birth time, birth place — to calculate your natal chart. If you don't know the time, we mark the chart as "no time" and skip anything that needs it.
• Current city — to fetch local weather and compute astrocartography lines near where you are. We send anonymous lat/lon to Open-Meteo; we do not send your identity.
• Big Five (Mini-IPIP) responses — only if you take the assessment. Used to seed coaching context. Never sold, never shared with third parties.
• Coaching messages — visible to the human coach (Stephanie) and to platform operators for safety and support. Send only what you're comfortable with a human reading.
• AI companion messages — sent to the Lovable AI Gateway (a large language model provider) to generate responses. Assume conversations are stored and may be reviewed for safety.
• Payment info — handled entirely by Stripe. Kairos never sees or stores your card number. We only receive a subscription status flag.

2. Who else sees your data

Stripe (payments), Supabase (database + auth), Lovable AI Gateway (AI inference), Open-Meteo (weather — anonymous lat/lon only), Google (only if you sign in with Google). We do not sell your data. There are no advertising SDKs, no ad IDs, no cross-app tracking.

3. AI companion disclosure

The AI coaching companion is a large language model — not a human, not a therapist. Assume conversations are stored and may be reviewed by the coach and operators for safety, quality, and model improvement. Do not paste anything into the AI that you would not want reviewed.

4. Coaching visibility (Gold)

Messages you send Stephanie are visible to her. Recent AI companion messages are visible to Stephanie in her coach panel — this is intentional so she can pick up context when you flag something for her.

5. Data deletion

You can delete your entire account from inside the app at any time: Account → Delete my account. This deletes your profile, chart data, Big Five answers, coaching threads, and AI conversation history, and cancels any active Stripe subscription. It cannot be undone. Payment records that we're required to keep for tax and compliance are retained per §7.

6. Your rights

You can request access to or correction of your data by emailing unscheduled@protonmail.com. Deletion is available in-app (see §5).

7. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to keep records (e.g. payment records for tax purposes).

8. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies for auth and session. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
